Incorporated in 1994, the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA) is a public/private sector economic development partnership that serves Dona Ana County, the second most populated county in New Mexico. MVEDA’s public sector partners include the City of Las Cruces, Dona Ana County, New Mexico State University, Dona Ana Community College, the Las Cruces Public Schools, and the New Mexico Economic Development Department. Its 90+ private sector partners are from all sectors of the economy.
MVEDA’s goal is to attract and expand economic-base employers within targeted economic clusters while elevating job quality and investment within the region.
